Attorney and Partner, Asenda Ventures

Brian Nelson is a business owner and attorney. As a partner and in-house counsel, he led the expansions and sales of two enterprise software companies to private equity and a strategic buyer. Brian is also co-founder and principal of real estate investment companies, which currently asset manage ~2M SF of industrial, real-estate, office, and residential. Prior to entrepreneurial ventures, Brian was an attorney in AMLaw 100 firms, where he focused on corporate law, venture capital, and intellectual property commercialization in diverse industries.

Brian engages with a collaborative, informed approach to accelerate value in organizations. He often serves as a liaison between business and legal. Among several community activities, Brian and his family recently launched a mulF-year lymphedema training program between the University Miami Miller School of Medicine and Sylvester Cancer Institute, and he is a long-time supporter of JAFCO (Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options), which supports children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, and special needs.

Brian chairs the Compliance Committee at Holy Cross Health.
