We came to Dr Velez suggested by our daughter Dr Rossana Guerrero Garcia and had a diagnosis of Frontal dementia from Cleveland Clinic, and Dr Velez after multiple tests gave us the correct diagnosis and treatment MCI mild cognitive impairment, it makes a huge difference in our lives.

My only small suggestion is that he allow his Parkinson's patients (who have limited processing ability) the time to answer his questions before he answers for them or moves to the next question. My father has been seeing Dr. Velez for years and we are very pleased with our experiences with him and his lovely staff. My only suggestion is a reminder to Dr. Velez to allow the patient to answer one question before asking a second. My father has Parkinson's and he processes questions very slowly. So while processing question 1, Velez would ask question 2 before my dad could process the first. This made it difficult for the correct info to get relayed to Dr. Velez. Thankfully, I was at the appointment and aware what was happening and could correct the answers. Other then that one suggestion, Dr. Velez has always been a very knowledgeable, professional and respectful provider and we continue to look forward to future appointments with him.
