Very positive experience. The only thing I found odd was the fact only one area could be examined per visit. For example, both knee and elbow pain but only knee X-Rayed during this visit. That necessitated another appointment.

Dr. Gonzalez is a wonderful doctor. I have been having a lot of ongoing pain in my shoulder for about 3 years give or take. I first went to him last year and he did an X-ray and then prescribed PT for 8 weeks, 3 sessions. Did not help. I kept thinking it would get better but gave in and went back to him. This time he said an MRI was needed so he could see just what was happening deeper than what an Xray would show. My follow up yesterday with him was amazing. He reviewed each slide with us and explained everything to me. He encouraged me to try the cortisone injection. I was so fearful of having it done, but Dr. Gonzalez went over each step and told me he would take every percaution so it would not be painful. He sprayed a kind of ice on my arm so I would not feel the injection itself. He used ultrasound so the needle went directly into the Bursa (I think that is what it is called). Told me to take it a bit easy yesterday and by the following day I should be able to move my arm without pain. Well, today is day 2 and it is remarkable. After 3 years of suffering, today I can honestly say, no pain!!!! I will be ever grateful to this kind and wonderful doctor. If you have any ortho pains or concerns, please schedule with him. Marvelous doctor!!!!Thank you so much.

From my initial conversation with Dr. Gonzalez it was evident to me that he hadn't reviewed my chart before he spoke. He seemed exceptionally rushed. Maybe he had a bad day because I didn't experience this during my first visit.

He is caring and seeks to help in every aspect of diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Gonzalez really listened to me when I spoke about my knee issue and he took into account everything that I said when giving me my options in how we could best go about getting it fixed. With no major, glaring issue he did recommend doing exercises to try and help.
Dr. Gonzalez explained the available treatment options and offered his opinion on the best approach for me. I felt that he truly listened and understood me and my health goals. Overall a very positive experience.

After being treated by him, I returned, that is, walked in to our second visit! Please be aware that I had been to the HCH ER prior to my first visit to Dr Gonzalez鈥rateful to him's.

The Xray technician was patient. Doctor Gonzales was patient and a good communicator.
Dr. G., went over my MRI, and since I didn't need surgery I could have PT or whatever will help my shoulder heal better. I don't have much of an injury from my fall on my shoulder, I will wait to see how the pain goes unlessd a certain movement. So I will see. as it doesn't seem to bother me
