I chose Dr. Wu as my new provider of pain management recently and despite the red tape due to insurance/Holy Cross, he is worth maintaining as my new provider in this area especially due to my chronic health conditions which can be very difficult to live with and manage
I wish I could give a higher score for the amount of time Dr. Wu spent with me. I was extremely impressed with the thoroughness of his examination and with his explanation of how he planned to proceed..

He mostly was not facing me and was in computer and asked about intracept procedure and I said we never discussed this before and he scrolled thru computer and then said he didn't see that we ever did then he checked on my complaint about pain I am getting in groin area on both sides with certain movement I thought maybe hip problem he said he didn't think so and then said we could try this but it might be 1-3 months to get it approved and then said wait here I need to sign a form someone then came back with brochure and paper to sign which I didn't receive copy of, just totally different from my resent visits almost like you'll have to wait another 3 months to get any pain relief left feeling very lost
I am so grateful I don’t know where I would be without Dr. Wu

My appointment was 3:00 PM. I checked in online. The email said to arrive at 2:45PM and my appointment was 3:15. I finally saw the doctor at 4:30 PM. I was also informed that the doctor was running late. I felt as there was no concern for my time and patients are scheduled to close together.
Dr Wu is always prepared and never rushes.
So far at time, things are being done well, no complaints at this time....

I've been with Holy Cross for almost 20 years but the Gallagher practice. Being recommended to pain management is a big step for me. I hope to be taken seriously and to be treated with respect and compassion. I do not believe Dr Wu cares about his patients. I had to get another MRI and he did not explain to me the reason. After the test at the ER he made no attempt to speak with me. It was like a non-person. I am still in major pain and I was not told what to do on Monday if the pais was not better. All of my doctors are Holy Cross doctors and I never been treated like this. I would like a phone call from the person reviewing this survey bc I am still in so much pain and discuss the visit.

Dr was clearly over scheduled on the day of my procedure and running very behind. Arrived at 3:00 for 3:15 appt, yet wasn’t taken into the procedure room until after 5:00pm.
