About
Interventional spine and pain specialist William Porter McRoberts, M.D. has returned to Holy Cross Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician employed group of more than 130 physicians providing services throughout Broward County.
Dr. McRoberts focuses on spinal pain and stenosis, sciatica, sacroiliac pain and dysfunction, chronic post-surgical and post-trauma pain, degenerative disc disease, arthritis and joint pain, painful peripheral nerve injury and neuropathy, facial pain, pelvic pain, spinal fracture management and orthobiologics for spinal disc and joint disease. Double boarded by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in both rehabilitation and pain medicine, he is also a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. McRoberts is an expert in micro-invasive spine and spinal decompressive techniques, orthobiologics, percutaneous fracture stabilization, and both chemical and electrical neuromodulation of the spinal cord and peripheral nerves.
Over the course of his career, Dr. McRoberts has performed more than 55,000 spine and pain surgeries. He takes a holistic, whole-person approach and believes surgery and procedures aren’t always the best course of care for every patient. His motto is, “To make man whole,” and he applies that ethic through a variety of methods depending on the needs and health of individual patients.
