  • Had it not been for Dr. Pineda's insistence and sincere caring of a patient that she had just met for the first time, this nodule that was 2 cm would have grown and spread ...before I ever knew there was a problem. All my doctors have been wonderful throughout this entire process, but Dr. Pineda is my angel. She started the process in saving my life.

  • On April 4, 2024, I had a surgical procedure at Holy Cross. The surgeon was Dr. Ishai Ross. I arrived at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. The staff in pre-op was professional, friendly, and did their best to put me at ease. The surgery went well, and the pos-op team was amazing. They were professional, knowledgable, helpful, and provided excellent instruction for follow-up care. In all, the experience was so much better than I expected it to be, as in my 83 years, this was only my third surgery (tonsils and adenoids at 2 years old, knee replacement at 78 years old). My life has truly been blessed.

  • I am getting better quickly, and I consider myself very privileged to be here at Holy Cross. My husband and I have a foundation and we enjoy helping others when we can. We are going to make a donation to Holy Cross. I've spent a lot of time on the the floor and so I hope that they get a chance to buy ...all sorts of items that they need and it will make us feel so good that we're helping in some small way.
