Neuro Intensive Care
About Our Neuro Surgical Critical Care Unit
The Neuro Surgical Critical Care Unit (NSCCU) is devoted to the care of patients with life-threatening neurological problems.
Using a multi-disciplinary approach, we not only care for the brain, but support the pulmonary, cardiovascular, infectious disease and other systems.
The staff of the NSCCU is trained in the use of ventilators, flow track monitoring, extraventricular drain (EVD) management, measuring intracranial (ICP) pressures and neurological assessments.
Other comprehensive services available include pharmacy services, physical, occupational and speech therapy, case management services and palliative care.
