This unique Women's Center has been developed for women, by women to better address your needs and to enrich your experience. We are excited to offer South Florida comprehensive women's health services. Our mission is not only to promote your physical health, but to care for you emotionally and spiritually as well.  In addition to our clinical and diagnostic services, we offer:

Marti Huizenga Meditation Chapel and Healing Garden

Made possible by a $750,000 donation from philanthropist Marti Huizenga in support of the Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women's Center, the Marti Huizenga Meditation Chapel and Healing Garden opened in May 2012. The chapel includes a beautiful stained glass installation, natural glowing sunlight and a warm look that lends itself to meditation, prayer and reflection. The garden features tall trees providing shade, wooden benches, winding paths and fragrant flowers. It is a calming place where patients and families can go in a time of anxiety or worry.

Café and Teaching Kitchen

Our Café and Teaching Kitchen is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm for breakfast, lunch and special events. Guests will enjoy healthy meals in an artful, inviting atmosphere.

Free Healthy Cooking Demonstrations are offered on the third Thursday of each month at our Café and Teaching Kitchen.
 

Education Center

HealthPlex now has a dedicated conference space, including audiovisual equipment, which will be used for meetings and health lectures for the community.

Lifestyle/Counseling Center

Holy Cross Community Outreach department coordinates Individual and group counseling/education at our Lifestyle/Counseling Center. True to our mission of addressing women's comprehensive health needs, the Center also serves as a satellite office for Women in Distress.
